The cookbook is still on my kitchen bookshelf for nostalgia reasons. After all, I wrote my name and address in it (below). But most of the recipes were too complicated or time-consuming for me, and my mother used mixes anyway, which was fine with her daughters.
The book falls open to a page showing "Penny-Wise Cake" which I remember using as the basis of a pineapple upside down cake we baked in Home Ec class.
Here's the recipe for pineapple upside down cake:
2 cups sifted cake flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
Also have ready for "topping"--1/4 cup melted butter, 2/3 cup brown sugar, 1 can of sliced pineapple rings (drain but reserve juice).
Preheat oven to 350.
1. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cream shortening thoroughly. Add sugar gradually, and cream together well. Add egg, beat very thoroughly. Add flour alternately with milk, beating after each addition until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Set aside.
2. Combine melted butter and brown sugar. Mix well, spread in 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Drain 1 can (8.5 oz) pineapple rings and sprinkle 2 TB of the juice over sugar mixture. Cut drained pineapple rings into quarters, arrange over mixture in pan. Pour cake batter over pineapple and bake at 350 for 45-50 min until done.
3. Cool in pan for 5 min, then invert on plate and let stand for a minute or two before gently removing the baking pan. Serve warm! A little vanilla ice cream wouldn't hurt either. Enjoy.

Earl Scruggs, a prolific bluegrass artist who popularized the three-finger method of banjo-picking that came to be known as "Scruggs style," has died.
"Earl Scruggs, the most important banjo player who ever lived, has passed on," Steve Martin tweeted after news broke that he'd passed. He was 88.
The North Carolina native, who died of natural causes yesterday, released at least 29 live and studio albums over the years. And he also wrote this:
Scruggs wrote the music and sang "The Ballad of Jed Clampett," aka The Beverly Hillbillies theme song, with Lester Flatt and singer Jerry Scoggins.
He won his first Grammy in 1969 for the instrumental "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" and followed up with his second in 2002 for a re-recording of it.
That version featured Martin on banjo, with Paul Shaffer, Leon Russell, Vince Gill, Albert Lee and Marty Stuart, on 2001's Earl Scruggs and Friends.
He received a Lifetime Achievement Grammy in 2008.

LOS ANGELES (AP) ? Lindsay Lohan's days as a criminal defendant could be over ? if she can behave herself.
A judge on Thursday ended the long-running probation of the problem-prone actress in a 2007 drunken driving case after a string of violations, jail sentences and rehab stints.
The 25-year-old actress will remain on informal probation for taking a necklace without permission last year, but will no longer have a probation officer or face travel restrictions and weekly shifts cleaning up at the morgue.
Lohan, wearing a powder blue suit and black blouse, let out a sigh of relief as she left Judge Stephanie Sautner's courtroom, possibly for the last time.
"I just want to say thank you for being fair," Lohan told the judge. "It's really opened a lot of doors for me."
The judge said she wasn't going to lecture the actress, but gave her some parting advice.
"You need to live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work," Sautner said.
She reminded Lohan that she will remain on informal probation until May 2014 in the necklace case and could face up to 245 days in jail if she gets into trouble again.
Still, the end of probation left Lohan looking relieved. She hugged her attorney, Shawn Holley, before leaving the courtroom, and was beaming by the time she walked past the rows of cameras waiting for her outside the courthouse near Los Angeles International Airport.
Sautner's regimen of morgue duty, therapy and monthly court dates helped Lohan weather the drunken driving case. The judge opened the hearing by calling the case "endless."
Lohan is now free to focus on her career for the first time since May 2010, when she missed a court appearance and was later jailed for failing to complete the terms of her sentence.
The "Mean Girls" star has struggled with the case and her career since the two drunken driving arrests in 2007.
She had small appearances in films and did some modeling but came nowhere near her heyday as the star of Disney films and movies aimed at teens and young adults.
Her career is already showing signs of a comeback. She is due to guest star on an upcoming episode of "Glee," recently hosted a highly rated but criticized episode of "Saturday Night Live," and is set to star as Elizabeth Taylor in a television movie.
"Lindsay is already talking about her next few projects," her spokesman Steve Honig wrote in a statement after the hearing. "She is ready to start the next chapter in her life and get back to work and doing what she loves to do ? making movies."
Lohan's tortured four-and-a-half-year effort to complete probation is not unprecedented. Actress Michelle Rodriguez took more than five years to resolve her drunken driving case, which featured many of the same elements as the Lohan saga ? missed deadlines and jail sentences.
Other celebrities resolved their DUI cases much faster. Fellow female celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Khloe Kardashian were all sentenced to jail and faced multiple court hearings because they didn't properly comply with orders from a judge, but their cases have long since ended.
Lohan might still have to return to a courthouse to resolve civil issues.
Two weeks ago, a nightclub manager in Hollywood accused her of grazing him with her Porsche. The actress denied the accusation and no charges have been filed. But the matter could end up in a civil court, where Lohan is already being sued by two other people for auto-related incidents.
Three men who were in a car that Lohan commandeered and used during a chase along Pacific Coast Highway are suing her and the case is scheduled for trial later this year. The incident led to her second drunken driving arrest in 2007.
Lohan is also being sued by a woman who claims she was struck by the star's car while walking in West Hollywood, and by a former Betty Ford worker who was involved in an altercation with the actress during her three-month stay at the facility in late 2010.

VIENNA (Reuters) - Pre-emptive military strikes aimed at forcing Iran to abandon its nuclear activities may end up having the opposite effect: convincing the Islamic Republic's leaders they need an atomic arsenal to secure their hold on power.
That is the argument from those in the West and elsewhere who say the negative impact of an Israeli or U.S. attack would eventually outweigh any gains - pushing Iran towards a decision that Western intelligence services believe it has not yet taken.
"It is difficult to see a single action more likely to drive Iran into taking the final decision to acquire nuclear weapons than an attack on the country," the foreign ministers of Sweden and Finland said in an opinion piece in the New York Times.
"And once such a decision was made, it would only be a matter of time before a nuclear-armed Iran became a reality," Carl Bildt and Erkki Tuomioja added.
Israel says Iran's nuclear ambitions are a threat to the Jewish state's very existence and that time is running short to stop Tehran taking the irreversible step of acquiring the bomb.
But an attack may delay Iran's nuclear drive only by a few years and would probably lead to an acceleration of the atomic program, the expulsion of U.N. inspectors and the Iranian people rallying around their leaders, the International Crisis Group think-tank said in a report citing unnamed U.S. officials.
"Once U.N. inspectors are expelled, Iran could reconstitute its nuclear infrastructure, this time unambiguously geared to producing a bomb," ICG analyst Ali Vaez told Reuters.
A similar message came from former CIA director Michael Hayden, who said the George W. Bush administration had concluded that a strike on the Islamic Republic's nuclear sites was a bad idea, according to a Foreign Policy magazine blog.
An attack would guarantee the very thing that the West was trying to prevent - "an Iran that will spare nothing to build a nuclear weapon and that would build it in secret", Hayden was quoted as telling reporters and experts in January.
Iran is relatively weak in conventional weaponry, compared to Israel and other Middle Eastern states, and may feel it has little choice but to develop nuclear bombs if "pushed into a corner", said military researcher Pieter Wezeman.
"If Israel or the U.S. would try to attack Iran and its strategic centers and its industry, Iran basically does not have the conventional means to defend itself," Wezeman, of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, told Reuters.
"Based on that weakness they are likely to find nuclear arms an interesting option. They don't want to be seen as losers, not internationally and not within Iran."
Any such feeling of military vulnerability in Iran - which often accuses adversaries of plotting to overturn its Islamic Revolution - would be compounded by Israel's assumed nuclear arsenal and the still strong presence of U.S. armed forces in the volatile Gulf region.
TALKS MAY OFFER "BREATHING SPACE"
There is general agreement among Western powers that Iran has already taken steps that would give it the option of becoming a nuclear-armed power, if it so decided.
It has ramped up its uranium enrichment, the U.N. nuclear watchdog said last month, voicing "serious concerns regarding possible military dimensions" to the nuclear activities.
Western experts say Iran now has enough refined uranium -material which can yield energy or weapons, depending on the level of enrichment - for four bombs if processed much further.
Crucially, however, the U.S. administration has concluded that Iranian leaders have not decided whether to actively construct a nuclear weapon, current and former officials have told Reuters.
"The U.S. intel community says with high confidence that Iran has made a capability decision, not a bomb decision," said Jim Walsh, a research associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). "Bombing them will produce a bomb decision, and that will be very difficult to stop."
Iran expert Trita Parsi said: "You can't convince a country that it doesn't need a nuclear deterrence by bombing it."
But Bruno Tertrais of the Strategic Research Foundation, a French think-tank, said nobody could claim to know the impact of an attack and he suggested it could be difficult for Iran to launch a nuclear weapons bid afterwards.
"Iran would be closely monitored and would then take the risk to be bombed again, before it actually produces deliverable weapons," Tertrais said.
"One needs to differentiate between an Israeli and a U.S. operation: the latter would be bigger, leave few stones unturned, and might very well shake up the foundations of the regime."
Israel has threatened Tehran with pre-emptive strikes if diplomacy fails to stop its nuclear progress. U.S. President Barack Obama says all options are on the table, including possible military action, in dealing with Tehran.
Israel worries that Iran will soon have moved enough of its nuclear program underground as to make it virtually impervious to a unilateral Israeli attack, creating what Defense Minister Ehud Barak has referred to as a "zone of immunity".
But Obama - who has accused U.S. Republican presidential candidates of "beating the drums of war" while failing to consider the consequences - is also encouraging Israel to give sanctions against Iran more time to have an effect.
The Jewish state this week played down the prospect of an imminent attack, saying Iran's nuclear program could still be set back by sanctions and sabotage.
Six world powers and Iran are in mid-April expected to resume long-stalled negotiations aimed at finding a diplomatic resolution to the nuclear dispute, a dialogue which may for now cool speculation of imminent war [ID:nL6E8ES1DU]
"I'm not optimistic on the talks, but I do think they could at the very least open a temporary breathing space for all sides," said Gala Riani of risk consultancy Control Risks.
NUCLEAR DETERRENCE
If Israel in the end decides to strike, Vaez of the International Crisis Group said "it was easy to imagine" that Iran would withdraw from the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), a 1970 pact to prevent the spread of atomic weapons.
Iran's envoy to the U.N. nuclear agency, Ali Asghar Soltanieh, warned this month that any attack by a non-NPT member - Israel - on the nuclear sites of a country that is party to the treaty would inevitably lead to the pact's "collapse."
MIT's Walsh said Iran might need years to recover from an attack but it would not destroy its know-how and would "present a window of opportunity for pro-bomb advocates" in the country.
Short of a full-scale war or occupation, "most military options are oversold as to their ability to end or even significantly delay Iran's nuclear program," the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) said.
A vast country, Iran has dispersed its program across many facilities, some whose locations may remain secret.
"An ineffective bombing campaign ... would leave Iran able to quickly rebuild its program and motivate it to launch its own Manhattan Project," the Washington-based think-tank said, referring to the U.S. atomic bomb program in World War Two.
But the view in Israel is that any action that can delay nuclear militarization is beneficial, "because it might maximize opportunities for other events, such as regime change in Iran", the International Crisis Group report said.
Iran, a major oil producer that denies any nuclear weapons aims and officially condemns nuclear weaponry as a "great sin", says it needs uranium enriched to a low level to fuel a planned network of nuclear power plants.
It came under intensifying Western sanctions pressure after the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in a November report, presented a trove of intelligence pointing to activities in Iran relevant for nuclear weapons development.
Former IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei said he still did not see "incontrovertible evidence" that Iran was working on an atomic bomb and that the question of whether it intends to make one was a matter of opinion and debate.
He said an attack would be a "sure way for Iran to go on a crash course to build nuclear weapons with the full support of the Iranian people ... and with the most catastrophic consequences for the Middle East and the rest of the world."
ElBaradei, who ran the IAEA for 12 years to the end of 2009, was outspoken in his skepticism of Western intelligence after erroneous reports about secret weapons of mass destruction in Iraq were used by the United States to justify the 2003 invasion that overthrew Saddam Hussein.
The risks posed by Iran's nuclear program "need not be hyped," he said in an email to Reuters. "We should by now have learned some lessons from the Iraq disaster."

Through nearly eight years of American occupation, insurgency, civil war, and, before that, Saddam Hussein's oppressive rule, all eight children have survived.
Dramas have at times been acute, of course, as the Monitor has recorded since it first met the Methboubs in late 2002. Among them are a son who was wrongly imprisoned and tortured for 2-1/2 years and a daughter whose marriage ended in abuse and divorce.
"Every day I thank God to be released from all these problems," says Mrs. Methboub, the devout Shiite matriarch who has shepherded her family since her husband died in a 1990s car accident.
Like so many Iraqis, Methboub has done so with grace, laughter, and a steadfast determination not to let the chaos outside get the better of her struggling family.
So today there are many reasons to hope, from promising educations for three daughters to decent jobs for her sons.
That renewal may best be symbolized by the room they repainted and prepared for oldest son Mohamed and his bride-to-be, who were wed on March 22.
It is a sanctuary with a carved wooden bedroom set ? made in China ? with matching chests of drawers, a tall wardrobe, and an expansive mirror.
Methboub, who is now sharing her bedroom with three daughters to make room for the new couple, shows it off proudly.
They huddle around a gas heater in the living room, where the fabric of this family has been tightly woven through shared challenges and a biting humor.
Daughter Hibba is bursting to talk about her studies at the University of Baghdad. She misses high school but enjoys playing basketball and studying psychology.
"I am happy now, and dream of when I graduate to be a psychologist's assistant," Hibba says.
Why psychology? "It's very good to know the personality of people."
That earnest answer is too much for older sister Fatima, who snidely interrupts: "You should understand your own personality first!"
Fatima's sharp-tongued ways mark a rebound from the tough days after her marriage fell apart a couple of years ago, but Methboub steps in to stop the squabbling.
"She's too smart," the mother says of Hibba, who is held up as an example for her young cousins. Hibba gives a telling look to the needling Fatima, and says the important thing is understanding behavior.

In Greek and Roman mythology, Spring is tied to Persephone?s story. The legend goes following the fall of the Titans, fearsome giants rose to battle the gods. The defeat of these foes shook the Earth to its core, forcing Hades to the surface to check that his realm was secure. Aphrodite and Eros spied Hades, and the goddess encouraged her son to pierce the heart of the dark god?there is a bit of malice in her words as she encourages Eros to exert his influence and prove that none can escape love, whether it?s the God of the Underworld or the daughter of a certain Earth goddess who has taken to following the strong, independent examples of Athena and Artemis (2). Hades, so afflicted, chances upon Persephone, daughter of Demeter, a harvest and fertility goddess, and Zeus. Persephone was apparently the picture of innocence as she gathered flowers with her playmates. He captured her (we won?t delve too deeply into what that means exactly) and forcibly removed her to the Underworld to be his queen.

Once Demeter learned she was missing, she searched high and low to try and uncover Persephone?s fate. Finally finding evidence suggesting Persephone has been swallowed by the Earth, Demeter?s grief was so great that she cursed the land so that nothing would grow. The Earth?and its inhabitants?suffered until a nymph, Arethusa, intervened and informed the grieving mother that she had seen Persephone in the Underworld. Demeter turned to Zeus and begged him to return her daughter. For the sake of the barren Earth, he agreed?providing Persephone had not eaten anything while with Hades. But she had: Hades had offered her a pomegranate, and she had sucked the pulp from six of the seeds. For six months, she would have to live with Hades and for the other six months she could return to her mother. Thus, the Greeks and Romans explained seasonal shifts: vegetation dies and the Earth goes into mourning as Demeter does when Persephone returns to Hades?the darkest, coldest months of Winter are those when Demeter?s grief is greatest?and the Earth blooms again when she returns, giving us Spring.
The key elements of seasonal death and rebirth in Persephone?s story are old themes that human populations around the globe have observed. In Babylonian mythology, for example, Tammuz (a god of harvests and food) is likewise mourned. The passing of the summer solstice, when the heat of the summer defeats agrarian efforts, marks his death. His lover Ishtar, a goddess of fertility, journeys to the underworld to bring him back and during this period the Earth effectively dies. Social anthropologist James Frazer writes of Tammuz and Ishtar in The Golden Bough[pdf]:
During her absence the passion of love ceased to operate: men and beasts alike forgot to reproduce their kinds: all life was threatened with extinction. So intimately bound up with the goddess were the sexual functions of the whole animal kingdom that without her presence they could not be discharged. A messenger of the great god Ea was accordingly despatched [sic] to rescue the goddess on whom so much depended. The stern queen of the infernal regions, Allatu or Eresh-Kigal by name, reluctantly allowed Ishtar to be sprinkled with the Water of Life and to depart, in company with her lover Tammuz, that the two might return together to the upper world, and that with their return all nature might revive.
Osiris, the Egyptian god of death and afterlife, has a complicated story of rebirth tied to his mythology. In short, the keeper and judge of the dead is also the keeper of life as he manages the flooding of the Nile and consequently the growth of crops. And Quetzalcoatl, a Mesoamerican deity often depicted as a feathered serpent, may have been tied to the regrowth of vegetation.
The list can go on. While there are parallels within mythologies?particularly those of the Ancient World?these stories ultimately suggest a way to reconcile changes that touch everyone. And while we may not necessarily rend our clothes and beat our breasts to remember Osiris? dismemberment, we recognize these changes in our own way. Spring cleaning, for example, clears the old to make way for the new and can arguably instigate a psychological rebirth. How do you mark these periods of transition?

WASHINGTON (AP) ? In an indication the GOP establishment may be starting to coalesce behind him, major contributors to a key Republican political organization founded by political strategist Karl Rove have boosted their financial support for front-runner Mitt Romney.
Wealthy donors like Bob Perry, Philip H. Geier Jr. and Jerry Perenchio collectively provided much of the $6.4 million in contributions last month to the pro-Romney "super" political action committee Restore Our Future, mostly from Perry's $3 million contribution, according to campaign records submitted Tuesday to the Federal Election Commission.
The donors also are among the most generous contributors to American Crossroads, the super PAC founded by Rove, who was a top adviser to President George W. Bush. Crossroads is likely to become the pre-eminent Republican group airing negative advertisements against President Barack Obama this year.
Meanwhile, Romney's super PAC rivals have struggled to keep pace financially, their cash flows at times dependent upon longtime friends or insular donors. The Rick Santorum-leaning Red, White and Blue Fund brought in $2.9 million last month, but at least $600,000 came from close supporter and Wyoming businessman Foster Friess. For the Newt Gingrich-supportive Winning Our Future PAC, nearly 88 percent of its $5.7 million February haul came from Las Vegas couple Sheldon and Miriam Adelson.
The new campaign reports illustrate the financial advantage that Romney ? the winner in Tuesday's Illinois primary ? harnessed heading into Super Tuesday primary elections early this month. Romney is ahead in the count of Republican delegates and was aided by more than $29 million worth of ads paid for by Restore Our Future.
That $29 million figure is higher than spending by any other Republican super PAC or campaign, including Romney's own campaign, which raised nearly $12 million last month but burned through that by month's end. The super PAC is also aided by business interests, including more than $150,000 in donations last month from a bloc of payday-lending companies.
All told, the money flowing to Republican super PACs is expected to counterbalance cash flowing to Obama's campaign, which has raised more than $120 million in total contributions as of Feb. 29. (The PAC supporting Obama, Priorities USA Action, collected only $2 million last month.)
Super PACs are not permitted under federal law to coordinate directly with campaigns, but the PACs often pay for media campaigns that allow candidates to concentrate on state organizations and get-out-the vote efforts. Such an effort for Restore Our Future requires big cash from wealthy financiers, who last month were newcomers, repeat donors or more generous with their checkbooks. Four of note:
?Perry, 79, previously gave $1 million to the pro-Romney super PAC in addition to his $3 million last month. He also gave $2.5 million to the Crossroads group. He heads a major Houston-based homebuilding empire and has been a million-dollar player among GOP fundraisers since the late 1990s, working closely with candidates and causes tied to Rove. Perry was a big money contributor to Bush's campaigns for Texas governor and was a top bundler for his 2000 presidential race.
In 2004, Perry was the largest single donor to the Swift Boat Vets and POWs for Truth, giving nearly $5 million to the tax-exempt organization. The group, composed of Vietnam War-era Navy veterans, was blamed for misleading attacks on Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry's service as a Swift Boat officer in Vietnam. Perry also gave $3 million that cycle to the Progress for America Voter Fund, another group supporting Bush.
When Texas Gov. Rick Perry ? he is no relation to Bob Perry ? entered the Republican presidential race in 2011 against Romney, Perry at first supported his home state candidate, giving $100,000 to a super PAC supporting the Texan's candidacy. But as Rick Perry's campaign faltered, Bob Perry shifted his allegiance to Romney.
?Geier, 77, a veteran advertising man, gave $100,000 to the pro-Romney group after previously donating $250,000 as well as giving $500,000 to Crossroads. He is chairman emeritus of the New York-headquartered Geier Group, a global media company. Geier was a campaign bundler for Sen. John McCain's 2000 presidential campaign and has given to the Republican National Committee, as well as to GOP leaders like Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida.
?Perenchio, 81, gave $500,000 and has donated $3 million to Rove's group since 2010. He is a former chairman for the Spanish-language Univision television network. He was a top bundler for McCain's 2008 presidential campaign. Perenchio, who heads Chartwell Partners LLC, gave $10,000 last year to the National Republican Congressional Committee and $5,000 to the re-election campaign of House Speaker John Boehner.
?Harold Simmons, 80, gave $100,000 following an earlier $100,000 donation in January. He also gave $100,000 last month to Winning Our Future, the super PAC supporting Gingrich; his wife, Annette, gave $1 million to the Red, White and Blue Fund. A billionaire, Simmons was the top benefactor for Rove's group, providing $12 million between his personal checkbook and the coffers of Texas-based Contran Corp., a holding company with interests including chemicals and waste management.
Simmons rivaled Perry as a $4 million contributor to the Swift Boat group in 2004 and was a bundler for the Bush and McCain presidential campaigns. In addition to his $12 million donation to Rove's group, Simmons has also given more than $200,000 to GOP candidates and party PACS and groups.
All told, super PACs have provided essential support for many campaigns. Gingrich, the former House speaker and winner of the South Carolina and Georgia primaries, collected only $2.6 million last month while spending roughly $2.8 million during the same period, his campaign said. Santorum's own campaign pulled in about $8.9 million in contributions during the same period, when he saw a surge in support.

?With over 20 booths ranging from the sale of pet products to a ready supply of pet care information provided by the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) and the animal welfare groups, pet owners definitely had lots to explore and buy for their pets!
?At our booth, puzzles and games were laid out for all ages to play! These games contained our RPO messages which meant that participants could have fun while being educated on better pet ownership. We met many people who share a love for pets as well. It was indeed heartening to see many adults and children, especially, wanting their best for their pets by showing a keen interest on learning how to take better care of them!

In accordance with the theme of ?Olympics by the Beach?, a line-up of competitions from Champion Catcher to The Sportiest Looking Pair was held for pets and their owners to participate in.
At 11pm, a ready crowd gathered at the stage in anticipation for the first competition to be held that day ? Royal Canin?s Canine High Jump.

After many ?oohs and aahs?, it was a red and white border collie who came out tops in the Canine High Jump (?Maxi-dogs category?), where he cleared a 36 inch jump and subsequently took the gold medal in the Champion Catcher competitions.? However in the mini dogs category, Don, a silky terrier cross was a clear winner after clearing a jump of 18 inches!
?The cats were not forgotten at this event!? With a whopping 50 cm measurement, a Scottish-Fold definitely had the most to boast about when he took home the title of ?Most Impressive Feline Chest?. Even the small hamsters had their chance in the spotlight with the ?100cm Sprint? competition where the winning hamster clocked in a 5.41 seconds record!
?However the segment most looked forward to was the ?Sporty Look? competition.? Pets and their owners displayed their creativity as they came dressed in costumes showing their love for sports! Rocky, a Shetland Sheepdog and his owner who were dressed as boxers concluded the round by beating the other good-lookers to taking home the gold medal!
?Despite the two heavy showers that poured over the event, the enthusiasm that filled the place was definitely not dampened. The hustle and bustle continued till 5pm and the event ended on a high with contented pets and proud owners!
